Royal Museum of Fine Art, Antwerp

The Royal Museum of Fine Art in Antwerp houses a vast collection of paintings from the 14th century forwards. This collection is rep of the arty production and the taste of art enthusiasts in Antwerp, Belgium and the Northern and Southern Netherlands since the 15th century these include Antwerp's most significant painters Rubens, Van Dijck and Jordaens. Separately from the superb art collection, the neoclassical architecture of the museum is magnificent. the building is decorated with Corinthian columns and two large bronze hoses.

Bruges

Bruges is very attractive place for tourist because of its superb museums and churches, walk its narrow paved streets or take a boat trip along its canals. It is often referred to as the "Venice of the North" due to its network of canals and the 50 bridges which span them. In the 13th to the 15th centuries it was one of the most important centres of trade in Northern Europe. Today it is a living history book due to its well-preserved medieval architecture and attractions which span the centuries.

This church is to be found at the Treurenberg hill on the edge between lower and upper town. Already at the beginning of the 11th century a church was situated here.

Grand Palace, Brussels

the Grand-Place is the main tourist attraction of the City of Brussels. All through the year it is visited by thousands who like to spend some time wandering around and admiring the beautiful buildings, or sitting down on one of the many terraces having a good Belgian beer. Concerts and musical happenings are organized all through the year on the square. The most famous events that take place here are the annual Ommegang (an historical procession at the beginning of July) and the biennial flower carpet.
